Computer Restarts

have a problem while playing Freelancer.

I'm starting the 3rd mission where you have to meet Juno on California Minor. I take the trade lanes to the Jumpgate and dock with it. It takes me through the warp cut-sceen and right before I'm in California my computer restarts.

I've tryed this 5 times now and each time it restarts at the EXACT same point. I can fly fine throught New York and do whatever, but when I take the Jumpgate to California it restarts.

Any help would be awesome.

Try dropping the graphics detail. Could be the jump gate effect is creating a lot of load for your system to handle.

Also, the latest nVidia drivers are known to cause odd problems (are you running an nvdia card?)

There is a known sound problem as well with certain cards and freelancer (what card you running?)

Bit more info on your system specs and we might be able to narrow it down a tad more....

Just my $0.02, but it could just be the cardamine talking.

Ok...I have seen this...and it's a corruption in the game.

Just reinstall the game..

I found out what the problem is guys.

If I run the game with 3D Audio on, it crashes. If I have it off, it runs like an Ace.
