Is it possible to transfer my server files from one computer to another? I want to keep my server up and running on my new computer but my old one needs to be reformatted. Is there any way i can do this? thanks
You should be able to accomplish this by copying your My Documents\My Games\Freelancer directory and everything it contains to the new computer's drive (same location: My Documents\My Games\Freelancer ). When you start up the flserver.exe on the new computer it will use these files, so you can pick up right where you left off. I had to do this myself while dealing with the "intermitant sound problem" so I am confident this will work for you.
