Menus freezing

Whenever i open a menu ingame, it freezes for like 5 seconds and everything runs slow. the game itself runs fine.

im running an athlon 2400+, 512 ram, rad 9700pro, 120 gig hdd with xp corp service pack 1. running in a 1024x768 resolution in game. i tried re-installing several times, running it in different compatibility modes, but still the menus freeze. anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening?

I got the same comp as u. Make sure u got the l8est ATI drivers.
That used 2 happen 2 me but it dont anymore - didnt do anything 2 fix it!
u might have to live with it, not sure what u can do...

hey, yeah i installed the latest drivers and it works just fine

who'd have thought eh? ah well thanks again, was worried i wouldnt be able to play it!!!
