I GOT THE SAME THING!!! its no fun anymore, the game is great but in SP its kinda getting boring as freelancer. I WANT ONLINE!! come moderators why dont u help us with this problem. i have had many tips from Devil BUT IT JUST DOESNT WORK!! what are we to do?!?!

Are you trying to connect over a network? I know over a network can cause problems...

I've never had a problem with playing online and a network. 2 different networks a no problems.

There is invaluable information located right on the CD's README files that address these issues. Doesn't take long to read either.

The one I seem to forget is the disabling a secondary piece of unused connection hardware such as a PCI modem when you're using Cable or DSL.

read the readme doesnt say anything about that... or have i overseen something, can u plz tell what i should change to get it working

Go to Start, Run and type ipconfig. U should get a IP-adress, Subnetmask and a gateway. (Usually get those three) If u got a DSL modem, u normally also got a Router in it. Dock into it and open the ports u need for YOUR IP-adress.

Go to Start again, Run, type in cmd. HTat ould give u the C-Promt. then type "ping www.flserver.com". that will make u able to see if u can connect to that IP-adress. Then, if u want to lay on Elite, open port #992 and ping thier server to. "ping 131.107.83.10". Without the "" ofourse.

Does anyone nknow the IP-adress of the "Global server"? If so, post it here and u guys can ping that too. If u still can ping all these 2-(3) IP-adresses, I would say that its your Modem that doesnt allow FL to be played over Internet.

Try after this to start up FL, select Multiplayer, click the "Yes" button when they ask u to confirm that u are ok with that u play on the Internet. Then click the "Internet" button. (Some people do click the "LAN" button).
If u still, cant connect to te Global Servers, go to this site and download The All Seing Eye:

Install it and add the Elite and other servers to the program, connect ot them and play! (This program have always been able to help most of my friends having problems with other games)

it doesnt ping to the ips you gave btw, the problem is not that i cant connect to the global (it says connected to glabal server internet games available:S), i just dont recieve the list, i'll try the program you gave, thnx.

damn, i was happy to fast, i can see about 100 servers, but maddog says there's about 800/900, whats going on?

Maybe u have filtered something? like servers wihtout connection.. locked servers or something..

Where is the filter?? I can only see 50 servers, and i cant find Elite! How do i find Elite? Devil, can you give me the step-by-step procedure???

I am trully soory but not at this moment.. I have never used it myself and I wont install it on my work computer. I might be home in 2 hours.. can send an answer there when I have checked it myself. Anyone else using All Seeing Eye?
