Major Freelancer Problem!

When I firstly copied Freelancer into my Hard Drive E:, in order to save space on C:, I keep playing Freelancer, almost days past since I moved it, it worked fine. But the only problem in Freelancer that only happened today, Is when I go to the Bar and clicking on people, the game freezes about 10 seconds, the loading bar doesn't show up and the game kicked me out to the desktop with no error. The hard disk light was under the 10 sec freeze was not flashing though, my Hard disk E: (normally when your hard disk loads up in Windows), the sound from E: was like *SHHHHHHHHHH codrrrr*.

I feel like I want to cry.

I would like to uninstall, but I am aware that I would lose my save games!

Please help!

P4 2.53 GhZ
512 MB RAM
2 Hard Drives

Ok, there's a Freelancer folder in My Documents directory, anybody have the try to uninstalled it losed it?

To the best of my knowledge, when you perform an uninstall (Use the Control Panel and choose Add/Remove Programs) it should bring you into the setup screen. UNCHECK delete save games when your perform the uninstall. If all else fails, MAKE BACKUPS --before-- you make any changes to save game files or game structure.

I've posted another freeze problem under the Ti4200 thread. do any of these symptoms/configuration issues ring a bell?
