Do you have an Intel 810e integrated graphics card? I've seen some very weird text problems on that model.

I have seen this on the i810...

My fiance's brother has a Dell computer...(the L550r turd) I installed it...Runs good...But ALL the menu's are hosed.

Best option is to get a video card. I think it may be a problem with the way Freelancer accesses the onboard memory of that chipset.

Video is not really intel's strong point...lol

If you don't have an AGP slot...Just get yourself a PCI video card..They are cheap enough now. Your system will thank you for it.
