Connecting to yourself

I started a server on my computer just to try it out. Then I started the game and connected to myself. During play I constantly get those connection warnings. After a while of playing I get kicked out and the server crashes. Does anyone know how this is possible? Connecting to yourself is always fast so that shouldn't be it. Perhaps it could be conflicting portnumbers. The server perhaps listens on the same port as the game uses to connect?

I've seen this problem on a couple of occasions, and they have all been related to the warez version.
Solo play is ok, online play on public servers are ok. But when you connect to the warezed server, the game will definately crash within 5 hours. After the first crash, almost anything you do in-game will crash the server. This happens even if the server is running on a dedicated machine.

If you are not running the warezed game, then I suggest you wait for the server patch.
If you are running the warez, I suggest you go out and buy this great game, it's worth it.
