Direct connecting to Freelancer servers
Okay, at first I didn't know how to connect to MP servers directly, so I'd sit waiting at the dodgy in-game server browser (why couldnt they implement something like tribes 2!?!?).........anyway, I found that directip.hta file in my FL directory and tried using that (which adds a command line to the shortcut "s-(IP)

It doesn't work! Even if I manually set the server I want to join through the shortcut, when I try and enter the game with it, I just go straight to the main menu and nuthin happens. I tried going to both Internet and LAN servers to see if the server comes up there, but nuthin happens in LAN and Internet just refreshes from the Global Server.
Once again, I am not a happy freelancing chappy.
