mission 3??

hi, im new to this "litle" game

well anyway, im at mission 3, the one u are supposed to guard a transport wessels with alien atrifacts to a asteroid research center or something... i made that one and i fly out in to space and follows the waypoint Ana gives me... then there is a cinematic with 3 Millitary Space Ships, and after that one i cant do anything, only fly around, i cant even land on planets or use Trade Lanes... am i supposed to do anythingthing becuase in mission objectices it says: "Waithing fo next objective" and i cant here some cinematics and vocies... what does the millitary ships say in the cinematic!??

plz help me, im so very stuck!

Exactly the same think happens to me, i haven't managed to work out how to fix it yet.

I'll let you know if i do.

I had the same problem for quite a while. After all of the attempts to repair the problem through messing around with codecs and stuff, I finally got some good advice.

Ram the Rhinelander ships to destroy them. It takes a while, but you should be able to do so with no damage to yourself. If you want to speed things along, fly close and drop a mine near your target.

This will help bring down their shields quicker and not lose the mission for you. BUT don't drop them all the way, if the mine damages their ship you will loose the mission. So just use them to lower them some and then get to ramming.

Once they are all gone, you will be able to proceed with the mission.

thx for the help... but no ramming was needed, when i read this and decieded to play the guys shot at me... i couldnt believe it, after trying like 10 times they now shot me.... jippie!
