Is it possible for you to post anything without inserting some sort of cuss word?!?!?

This is a family oriented site, if you can't express yourself without having to use explitatives, then go somewhere else.

Try reformatting the entire hard drive. Reinstall your windows. The install your drivers, no winamps and stuff like that.

Then install your freelancer.

Alternatively, you can try going to your folder setting in control panel. Hit the view tab and check the box 'show all hidden item'

Then search for that file in c:\windows\ (ever heard of the search function???)

Then delete the file. Then follow the instruction in readme.txt in freeelancer about sound problem..

Hit your enemy when they are down
Hit your enemy when they surrender
Hit your enemy when they can't fight no more
