I just wanna play Freelancer...
Well thank you to the guys that helped me out earlier I really appreciated it.
but as much as I'd like to say this is a happy ending its not, this weekend I reformatted and reloaded Windows ME and all the drivers and everything I need
6 times 6! because everytime I put in FL and directX 9.0 I get error msgs like
Ebu-something or CMDNINST caused some <uknown> error and the system would
freeze up and not respond and I have to say it all started with Freelancer,
so heres the history...I bought freelancer here in Japan (import from america)
no biggie it came in a PS2 looking box to save space but nothing different.
my video card was a ATI 9000 now its a GF4 Ti 4200 and my sound card was made by A-open all the drivers were up to date but as soon as FL and/or DX 9
go in its just madness errors and freezing that all. like I said I just wanna play
this game I gotta get haze grey and underway in like a month I gotta check this out. some my co workers telling me I need XP or a new hard drive...any thoughts?
