speed wrong?

The place to ask for technical help with running the demo or the full game...

speed wrong?

I'm playing the beta version of the game (i work for a major retailer), and I've noticed that the top speed for all the ships I've flown so far (liberty and bretonia) are all 80. the afterburner speed is the exact same, too. is this normal compared to the actual retail game?

I can't remember the normal cruise speed but your afterburner speed is higher than that. I think it's 200 or 300.

Same for all ships. Normal speed is 80. Afterburner is 200. Cruise is 300.

Thank you,

I guess the devs did this because they needed to balance out the game...but that's no bug...like the post above says... 80, 200, and 300 for normal, afterburner, and cruise speeds respectively.

well. that's ridiculous. the only advantage for a light fighter would be an almost negligible difference in maneuverability? and fighters can't catch freighters without those stupid cruise disruptor weapons?

My respect for this game just dropped 8 notches.
