FLMM screwed up my installation...

I don't know WHAT happened, but I downloaded and installed FLMM and also the Tie Fighter, Large Train, and Angel mods...

The Angel mod worked...

Then I deactivated it and tried the Tie Fighter mod... Activated it, started the game up... Right on the Freelancer splashscreen, it kicks me out to the desktop and I can see the game still running in the taskbar, but it won't go back in... And it doesen't appear in the Task Manager...

So I tried deactivating the Tie Figher mod... No go. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and it's still doing the SAME thing... Searched the registry... Nothing. Every reinstall, it's the SAME thing... It's really annoying. :mad:

Nevermind, I got it working again.

Took a few uninstalls and registry searches and a few restarts, but it works again!

go to Start/Run

and type in "regedit" (without quotation marks of course) and hit ENTER.

Then go to Edit/Find and search for Freelancer and delete everything that comes up...

Of course, do this after an uninstall and reboot, and then after the reg edit, reinstall Freelancer.
