Small Problem

During my travels thgroughout the world of Freelancer, I have noticed that the engines on Corsair and Bounty Hunter ships glow red and blue. However, whenever I purchase one of these ships, the engine glows the standard yellow/tan color that civilian ships use. It's the same for single and multiplayer. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

This isn't really a technical issue, more like an annoyance. But those engines look really cool!!
