Problem on level 18! Can someone help me?

I'm in level 18 and I can't go to level 19 because when I have $140.000, it says that i need $11.000, if I "lose" credits, more credits I need to pass, if I "win" credit, less credits I need...
That way I'll never pass, because te credits that i need are changing every time!
I don't know, but in my game, when I was on level 16-17, I bought a very good and cheap ship, the Anubis, $1.100, a very good shield for +-$500 and a thruster for +-$300, all from the order (is that wrong?).

I didn't run into this problem. I just left Liberty Space and headed into Rheinland Space to explore. When I got to New Berlin, I discovered just how cheap the commodities sold there are. After loading my Anubis's ample cargo hold fulla loot, I headed to New Tokyo. It was a tough trip, that had me stopping to refill my Shield Battery and Nanobot supply a few times (damn Unioners). When I finally landed in New Tokyo, I made a helluvalot of money and leveled.

I certainly don't doubt that this could also be done making the much safer Glasgow - Cambridge diamond run. Try making any lucrative cargo run and you should level. Don't forget that when calculating level, your total worth is what's counted, not just how much cash you have. You're in a cheap ship, with cheap parts, that have even cheaper resale value. Use the money you saved buying that equipment and make a heavy, valuable cargo run.
