Greetings. I have an interesting problem that I have yet to find documented by anyone else, so sorry if this is a repeat but I'd rather get this problem fixed now instead of 3 days from now when I finally read my way through all the posts.

I set up a server for me and my friend and we're both able to get onto it. Unfortunately, my friend keeps getting kicked off the server randomly. He can play 30 mintues or 5 and *poof* he's back to the menu screen with a message saying he quit the server and that it may be because the server is down or blah, blah, blah... I never get kicked and nothing shows up on the server console to give me an idea of why he'd been dropped. I'm on a public comp right now but when I get home I'll append the exact message to this post.

Here's my setup.

AMD Athlon 1.3
DDRAM 768mb
ATI 9000 pro
SB Live 5.0
Netgear Router with ports set to 2300 - 2400
Win XP

Here's my friend's setup

AMD Duron 1.4
DDRAM 512
Geforce 4 MX440
Onboard sound

Direct cable to Internet
