GAME CRASHES WHEN QUITING

Ι have an AMD 1800 with GF4400 and drivers 40.91 working perfectly more that one years.I dont have any trouble with the game,i run it with everything on the maximum and its realy rocks.
My problem is when i am leaving the game and after i press QUIT.My desktop is getting stuck like it "melts",(no blue screen).I just rebbot.Note that no error message is on screen or after rebooting.My system is running under XP PRO.This is the only game that iam having this peculiar problem.I run Sturmovik with no problem at all.

Same here...game runs great, but when I exit the game it srcambles my desktop and won't allow any commands. I have to turn off the system with the power button. I even set up a "Gaming" user just for running games.

Running XP Pro, Dell 8250 2.4g 768mb w/533mkz front bus

Any suggustions?

I get this too! I thought I was the only one...

I got this everytime with the demo and was sure the full version had no problems. The first time I played the full version I was able to quit without any problems. Since then, it crashes every time. Garbled desktop and I have to reboot. I've tried all the latest bios/firmware and drivers with no luck.

I hope more people start reporting this so we can get it fixed...

This was posted many times when the game was first released. I'll look for the thread and see if they had a fix.
