VERY big textsize in 1024x768

I reinstalled Xp yesterday and after that, the textsize became VERY big in Freelancer. I use 1024 x 768 but the textsize is like <640x480 or something. Is this a major problem or is it my reinstallation of xp who did it?

i had the same problem but i was running 2K...i had a bunch of other weird problems too though...i ended up having to exchange my copy and now it works! i m not sayin you should neccesarily exchange your copy and i dont know why the text is like that, but i feel for ya ! GOOD LUCK! (i guess this does mean that its not just xp though!)

Did you play it BEFORE installing XP and the text was fine?

Re-install the game and the text will be back to normal...
I had the same problem changing my xp to 2000. But my sound didnt work either, so i reinstalled the game...

Did you change something in your "Control Panel"? Maybe that was the problem.

I had the same problem after reinstalling XP and _not_ reinstalling Freelancer.
I tried to insert the most obvious registry-keys (copied from a freinds reg), but it didn't work.
After installing Freelancer it worked fine again.
