Still can''t connect to global server!

I have tried everything. I have disabled my firewall, forwarded the required ports, reinstalled both the game and DirectX TWICE, enabled Ping responses, and even flushed a couple pictures of Bill Gates down the toilet, with absolutely NO EFFECT. I spent $50 bucks on this, and the failing multiplayer makes me feel like I wasted my money. On the box it says that it's freeform. How convenient that it's only like that in multiplayer. I am so PO'd right now that I just wanna cram that Microsoft support page down someone's throat. I seriously believe it's my router that's causing the problem. If ANYONE has ANY advice, no matter how idiotic, moronic, maniacal, sadistic, twisted illegal, or just plain wrong, I would like to hear it. I'm tired of being restricted to the already resticted single player mode. And the No-Story mod is faulty: I can't leave Manhattan, and I can't make it past level 17!!! PLEASE HELP! I know that I sound like I'm whining, but I'm thew only person I know who can't play multiplayer!

I can see servers when I add them to the command line, but if I join i get this error:

WHen that is over in about 60 seconds, I can do something on server for TEN seconds, then I get this error:

And my DirectX gives NO errors @ DirectPlay components. WTF is going on... (already reinstalled it three times over)

DA needs to make a patch or something! I see no reason why multiplayer should not be functioning!

You guys are right.. there is no reason for this.. I can play MP just fine.. I have a Netgear Firewall/router that feeds my internet out to a 3COM SuperStack... I can connect A-okay to any server and play as long as I want.
