Can connect to some, but not all servers
WTF? Ok, here's the deal:
I was playing on a friends server the other day, and after about 10 minutes, I got booted off of his server. No problem... until I tried to log onto his server again. Now his ping lists as "--", and I've NEVER been able to get back onto his server. He hasn't changed any settings on his server, and I have haven't changed anything on my machine. I've tried connecting directly to his IP using the -sIPADDRESS
ORT switch. Other people can connect to his server without any problems. I can connect to other servers just fine. Only his server, along a few others, have a ping of "--".
Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, have you been able to fix it?
In case you're wondering, I've reinstalled the game, I've got no firewall set up, I'm going straight into my cable modem... nothing has changed on my box since I was ABLE to connect to his server. Nothing has changed on his box or router, either.
