Need help on server hosting.

Well I'm trying to run a server. Ive opened the ports that were required by the readme. When I run the server in the console it says send game informtion to list server..... and thats where it stops. I can connect to it just fine cause I'm on the lan but my friend can see it on server browser but it never recieves a ping. I have a linksys 4 port router with the latest firmware. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Post what you did for your port forwarding. May want to try and reinstall direct x 9 again also.

I forwarded ports 2300-2400 to my server also Ive already tried reinstalling DX9.

I also have a Linksys, but have no problems. You are using the Ranged port forwarding and not UPnP right?

No other type of firewall programs?

I'm using the ranged port and not the unpnp. Well the comp needed a format anyways so I installed Win 2K and now the server run without any problems. Thanks for trying to help.
