OK, I need some help with this one. Since I am better with computers than my friend, he has asked me to figure out why he is having problems with Freelancer. I am 100% sure that it is his video card, he has a ATI Rage 128 Pro, which is 32mb, and minimum requirements state 16mb. What happens is that a window pops up and says that the drivers are out of date, and then when I go to install the drivers i just downloaded from ati's web site it says "either the drivers are up to date" or "the install program can not detect the required hardware (or something along those lines)". There is no driver updates newer than October of 2001. What is the problem, something to do with directx 9?
