Need A MP Patch

I hope Digital Anvil comes out with a patch that will allow a person to carry there Ships,Credits etc from one MP server to another.It sucks losing a server and then starting fresh from the beginning on a new server.Being able to customize ship colours would be nice too.

That would probably require the accounts to be stored client side leaving them even more open to cheating, similar to open characters in diablo 2. Besides, gives you something to work for.
