Whats going on with E2?

Again, I post about this server, its really getting on the very last of my nerves, where the hell is it? did it go down permanently or temporarily. Me and like 5-6 other friends all have a Char on Elite and E2, Elite is ALWAYS (24/7 from what i have seen) full, and E2 is either completely gone, or keeps going down for maintenance. Im starting to agree with orca on this, its about gotten me to a point im about to uninstall this game, i played through singleplayer, and found pretty much ALL the secrets (Strategy Guide) now will someone tell me what the hell is going on, its been like 3 days E2 has been down.

E2 Server is down? I see people playing on it right now.

If you have any issues with E2 or Elite, you can post here, or send me a mail @ [email protected].

I'm pretty good at jumping in on issues as soon as they arise, and I was not aware that anyone was having problems with E2 (other than some lag issues).

If anyone wants to move an account from E2 to Elite, please let me know.

Thanks

Check http://flserver.com/serverstatus.htm to see if it is up, and current players.

Also you can always connect to it using the freelancer.exe /S:flserver.com:2302 method.

Let me know if you still have problems.

its not showing up for me either. I tried using the command line method to connect, where should it show up if i use it? I've checked internet and LAN catagories

If you use the command line option, you should pick the "LAN" setting, which prevents the game from attempting to connect to the global server.

However, the server won't show up on the list until it responds to a ping (so you can see the name, options, etc.)

So if it isn't showing up, then you can't ping it for some reason.
