Funny thing happened to me while Nomad farming. Since the Outcasts are on a kill-on-sight basis with me I figured I'd just go the unknown system via Omikron Gamma. I figured that about 30 minutes in there and I'd have my matching NEBs. Well, after killing 30 of them (and out of batteries) I was still Nomad weapon dry. So, I just say "Screw that" and head on out to the unknown system via Omikron Alpha, leaving a wake of dead outcasts behind me. A handful of sunslayers (just for something different) and diamondback fire later, there are 8 nomads dead and I have 4 NECs and 1 NEB. After killing 8 more nomads I've got my pair of NEBs and a bunch of useless NECs (about 7 of them I think). Kind of weird though. The unknown system w/ the planets didn't drop any weapons for me. And in the other unknown system they mostly dropped NECs. Oh yeah, I was also lvl 35 at the time. Also, I $4it you not about this. Go figure. And, if some of you couldn't figure it out NEC=Nomad Energy Cannon and NEB=Nomad Energy Blaster. Hehe, just in case. Cheers.

Ok, people if you are hunting in Omicron Gamma for nomads and not geting what you are expecting...

Try going to the unknown system, thats where there home is so try tat place maybe you will find better results at least I do.

Oh and in the unknown system you can repair on the monkey planet which look like it is hostile but in fact the gate isn't and you can land on it freely.

the best way to get nomad weapons is to knock them down to next to no health and them finish them off with 1 or 2 shots of ur weakest weapon. otherwise the nomad guns get destroyed straight away!
