Do ship wrecks regenerate in MP?

I just had a tought. Once I take the loot out of a ship wreck, can no one else in the server loot it again after some time? is the goods lost for good, or does it regenerates after a while?
How does it work in MP?

I think that it goes away until the server has been restarted.

I dunno, but I did try to destroy a couple derelict ships, to no avail (you can in SP, though). I'm guessing they regenerate, otherwise there wouldn't be a point to keeping them around.

Yes when the server restarts, you can loot them again.

yes they respawn, no server restarting does not help. at least the last part I have been told several times, the respawn of items I have from first hand experience on several servers.

actually, its different depending on what you looted, server restarting might do the trick, but usually it does nothing, according to quite a few server admins and from personal experience. I looted flint, but afterwards, after about a week or so, i came back and it was all back, on E2 if you have noticed those missing depots outside Kensington Shipping Platform (if you play on E2) i looted those, they should be back soon, or right away cuz it appears the server is down for maintenence (which means its probably gonna restart) all i know is im 100% sure those respawn, it just depends on the server and time.
