Moving FL MP account between cmputers

Am I retarded? I install FL, and it tells me my FL multiplayer account ID. "Don't lose it!" it says - obviously this ID is what the server uses to recognize me. Important.

Now here's the problem - where do I put this number if I want to be able to access my characters on a server while I'm at a different computer? And what good does it do me if I have to reinstall? Or I get a new computer? Obviously I need this to access my characters on the server, but where do I put it in?

I have looked in as much of the documentation that I can find, and I dunno, maybe I have overlooked it, but I cannot find anything to tell me where to put this number - nor can I see anywhere to put it either in the game, or in the freelancer.ini file.

Does anyone know where to input the FLMultiplayer number?

As of now there is no way to carry your account across servers. If you uninstall FL, get a new machine or otherwise remove FL from your comp you enter your old MP acount ID when you relaunch multiplayer from the new install (you just delete what it puts as your new ID and replace it with the old one). If Its a default installation you can get the ID code from the windows start menu. It should say "Examine My Account ID" in the FL folder".

I'm sorry but I had to reply, when you open Freelancer for the first time on a computer, and click the MP button, It opens a box with the MP Id, but you can write in that box, so, If you had your old acct ID written somewhere, just delete the new one from the box and put or old one.
