Oh, here''s a classic.

So, aside from the fact that this game has "Microsoft" emblazoned upon the box -- will there be a way to run a Linux server of Freelancer? I'd love to run a server off of a nice Dual Xeon P4 1.8GHz machine on a T3 that I have access too -- but it runs linux (not that I consider that a bad thing )!

I know that NWN came out with a linux server eventually... anyone hear of anything like this for FL? Or does one exist already and this is just proof that I was way too lazy to actually get up and look?

Thanks!

hey, is stinger talking about running linux servers here, or the game in general. Probably the former but the latter can be said about everything else!

Rasta, that wasn't necessary. It's a Microsoft game, so it's pretty obvious they won't support a competitor's O.S. Closing topic since there's nothing more to discuss. "click"
