Just run the flserver.exe and enter the data in and run it. Then go into your game and click on Multiplayer/Internet and you should see your server listed there.

try launching the game with another shortcut..

and use this one..

<path to game>/freelancer -slocalhost:2302

and chose multiplayer --> lan

then your server should be there..

Zion should i type exactly like you said -slocalhost .. or should i type (for example) -s192.168.10.62,since i cant find anywhere what ip i have (have XP Pro)

-slocalhost:2302

the :2302 refers to a port, not your IP

To get your IP, run command (Start -> Run -> CMD)

and type ipconfig

In my experiments I found that if you run the server but it does not appear on your list in the game it is besause you do not have an active network device (NIC or modem)

If you have a network card then it needs to be plugged into a hub/switch to work.

A war without killing is just a nasty argument with lots of pushing and shoving.
