Problems with starting server...

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone could give me a hand in the following vague problem: I have a Win XP machine with 256MB, 1.7Ghz P4, Via chipset and a Nvidia GeForce2 GTS.

Onto the meat n potatoes: whenever i try to startup the FLSERVER.EXE file, it asks for the server name, blah blah... I fill that out and click okay, it sits there and scrolls in the server name box: ...loading...loading... and then when i goto click on anything, such as view->console (to see what is taking so long) it crashes, however, only the FLSERVER service crashes, my windows is still up and running (I know, I know, amazing windows still works...heheheh...especially when it needs no help crashing on its own, not doing anything). Now I have the latest drivers on my system and the Win XP is a clean install (plus SP1).

I have two more machines in the room with identical configurations save; more memory and a different graphics card (one is a ATI Radion 8500 and the other GEFORCE4 TI4200). And they all run the server prog. fine, albeit trying to connect to the global server list or something like that, though that is from my internet connection turned off for right now (purposely done). Now, the problem is the third machine (the one having probs) is the one I want to run this server prog. full time from.

Sorry, so long, just wanted to exclude as much as possible from post guessing. Although at this point I am readying to try dang near anything. Thanks.
