What a pity that this is a "Freelancer" game...

Nicest game engine with unimaginable extend ability.
There were tons of ways to make this game a real MMORPG. Join fractions, set up player missions(like convoying), attack trade routes to affect market, grand events like Rheinland launches invasion of Kusari... uhh, what about a Master of Sirius? =) Any more good ideas?

1st person roaming of cities, they dont have to be large, it would just add some cool dimensions to the game. Maybe to go as far as to have large cities. Get a blaster rifle or something and go hunt people down. I dont think the engine would support that.. would it? It can support those bar scenes so it might. Also,, multiple settlements per planet, instead of just landing at the base you want, you fly into orbit then goto docking ring and then find yourself in upper atmosphere and you fly yourself down. Abilitie to have larger ships, maybe even Cruisers and Battleships, or atleast those cool gunships. Multiple people manning a ship, one for piloting, main guns, another for turrets. A wider variety of missions. Ability to blow up battleships in orbits =) (see my other post) . Areas that can come under control of other factions, make it like WW2online (if anyone has played this one. ) in that sense, bases can come under control of the other side(s) so that frontlines are moving. There is alot that can be added, just creativity and you can come up with stuff.

Yea i know,
the game is so far reaching (to put it nicely) but there are only 5 sorts of missions.

Wouldnt it be great if you could buy your own asteroid base, guarded by weapon platforms and battle cruisers ?
a very own solersystem for a clan, complete clan wars, pull out with 3 battlecruisers, 5 gun ships and the rest of the clan to anihilate the opposition and reduce them into space dust ! o_O

man... luv to see that ina XP-set or somethin
