Moving server Files: Need a little Help

Hi

I was woundering if some one could help, i have been running a server on my main machine for about 1 week now, but the amount of players is increasing as time go's buy, And becuse i sleep near my main computer i can't have it on 24/7

So i have been trying to move the files from my Gaming (Main) machine to a P450 356 MB Ram Dedicated server i have. (i know it's under Spec)

I am Running XP Pro on Both machines, and so I have done as follows and these are the results.

I have copied all of the files from the

C:\Documents and Settings\USER1\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\MultiPlayer (Old Server)

To

C:\Documents and Settings\USER2\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\MultiPlayer (New Server)

Started the dedicateds server and i can connect from the LAN but when people try to connect from the Internet they get to type the Password but then nothing else.... wont log them in.

The only thing i can thing of that is difrent is the install of the game on each machine, on the 2nd machine i just did a Stand alone server install, where on my main computer i have the full install, so i can play at the same time.

Can any one elses see what i have done wrong ?????

And help would be cool

Cheers
Can-able

You are not behind a proxy or something, firewall....?

Because i have set up an server to (Pentium II 300 mhz, running great), and have done the same thing. And the users can join on the server...

The LAN is on a router then connected to cable Modem, but the server is a DMZ , so all ports are open ????

Please stop "bumping" I'll delete the thread entirely.

The instructions on how to back up files is locate in the full version of the game in a readme file.
