There are so many warez servers online, something must be done to it.

Still can't find TLR.

I see it, but its 0/11. Question- I thought TLR's server was "Elite" like in the other post.. is this it? I want to play on the server where everyone here is going to be.

Thanks

Why and what do you want to do? How you know they're warez servers?

TLR-Gold is more of a "training ground" for E2 and Elite due to my inferior server. It will be persistent tho and I am pretty good at showing people around. Plus, since I'm a moderator here, I'll have my IP up fairly quickly if and when the global server goes down so people will be able to still connect.

I doubt I'll be able to handle more than 11 at one time...but that's not too bad.

First of all, to answer the pirating question: You will see. If you got enough balls to run a multiplayer server with a pirated version, be prepared to accept the concequences. Nothing more on that.

But to the actual issue, I found TLR Gold after a while of looking around and refreshing the MP server list.

Well something tells me they won't go busting every single pirated server op they find. If so they will spend twice the money they are loosing by that person pirating it just to track that person down. Seems a bit stupid to me. And besides when they bust people they bust people who help distribute. Same way with drugs. You go busting every junky you see the big people you really want to bust become aware of it and start being more careful. They go after every person who sets up a server they will spend twice as much money as they are loosing and the people releasing the products will just be that much more careful while they continue distributing. It really is a no win battle. They'll never stop it completely.

I just don't get why people complain so much about people getting their stuff warez. I myself get every game I want warez first. I've gone out and forked over 50$ and had a game have some glaring irritating stupid little bug that should have been fixed before the game is even considered for release and that bug will stay there while the company that made it fixes every little detail that no one gives a crap about BUT the one flaw everyones complaining about. Sorry I won't be suckered again. I'll do what I been doing warez stuff out and if it's worth my money I'll go buy the damn thing. Almost all games require a cdkey to play online anyways nowadays so why do some people get so touchy about it?

To Xan:

Do you really think its all bad to run pirated server at this point? Man I dont say I condone that but as I write this I cant buy final even if I wanted to since its not available yet. Besides I pay for the net bandwidth, pay for the hardware server runs on and both of that is several times the price of a game I and I ask nothing. All good mp servers came as a free server only downloads from companies (possibly linux and win versions). What you are asking is that I pay (I will get retail when its available for my client game but no sooner than that) to run server and have it FREE for you to play on. Hmm what if everyone made their server pay to play and charge you bandwidth huh would you like that better? Do you believe if that happened DA would sell as many copies as they will? The ammount of servers available will make game sell real good in my opinion but when it hits shelves in my country and I will have no excuse for not getting one anymore and there would be no option of server only download for free Ill shut down my server so you can move your a$$ over and play on M$ servers.

Since you are so vocal I really hope you have done all things in your life the legal way. But somehow I doubt that.
