Multiplayer question

I missed something? Some of you have a release candidate of Freelancer? Because the demo is not multiplayer (mine is not anyway). Or is there a patch to make it multiplayer?

Some people have a beta version, and some people have a pirated version.

Thank you ... I have been away from this community too long. Been busy with my starwars clan ... want to drag them into Freelancer now. X-Wing Alliance is a dying game ... and Jedi Outcast ... I like spacecombat better.
