Help with LAN!

We have a wierd network here and our LAN works in a funky way. I'll use Counter-Strike for an example. All buildings are located on the LAN, but each building cannot see games in the LAN menu for any game, therefore for Counter-Strike all we need to do is drop the console and connect to IP.

So, in the LAN menu for Freelancer, we won't be able to see a server in another building, so my question is, is there a way to manually connect to an IP, or add a server to the list by IP?

Is there a console, or command line editing that can be done to connect?

Axion,

Nobody is replying to you so I will ..

This has been addressed before but yes you can ..

the easiest way is to open the fldirectip.hta file in your EXE folder, this will prompt you for the IP and port of the server.. then when you launch the game, choose multiplayer and select internet or lan and your server will be there..

alternately, you can use freelancer.exe -s<IPADDRESS>:<2302>

for example .. freelancer.exe -s192.168.0.15:2302

this will add 192.168.0.15 to your multiplayer server list the same as the fldirectip.hta file I mentioned.
