I Never mentioned that. I know you can setup a server. I think you may have misunderstood my writing.

O.k: Here is the only possible part of my writing where you got that idea above.

I said "for the MMORPG, YES I do like those, but there is one problem. You can't run your own server. I like running my own server for people to play on. Therefore Freelancer and its multiplayer concept is GREAT!"

I was talking about MMORPGs like EQ. You Can not run your own server in EQ or UO. Yea, I know about the emulators that let you run your own servers, but those are not really legal or supported by the actual companies. If you look I go on to say for the MMORPG, YES I do like those, but there is one problem. You can't run your own server. I like running my own server for people to play on. Therefore Freelancer and its multiplayer concept is GREAT! What I mean there is that FL is great becasue YOU CAN run your own server as opposed to MMORPGs.

Hope that clears that up.

I'm glad we got this cleared up and I look forward to the game and in meeting many others online via the servers. I'll be running my own server, but will frequent the most populated servers out there. Will Lancers Reactor have their own server running? If so maybe we will meet in space and perhaps settle our little feud!

A few things. 1) I'm not a newbie killer and 2) I play my part within the rules of role playing. No kill all you can just for fun. There has got to be some logic as to why we do what we do.

This is assuming the servers I'm on accept PvP.

Anyhow, as I said, I'm glad we cleared up the earlier stuff and I look forward to chatting with everyone here via the forum boards.
