Has the Global Server list gone down again?

Is it just me or has the Global Server gone down?
I was in a game about to dock and I got a message up saying that I was disconnected from the server, probably because of some Internet trouble on my end or the servers end.
Well when I went back to the server list it was empty and I get the message "Disconnected from Global server list. Internet game unavailable".

Looks just like it did when the list had gone down before. But I can't see how that going down would affect my link to the Elite server.

Anyone else have this problem?

did you direct connect to it or go through the global to Elite?

During the game in which I got dropped I had connected through the global list.
After it dropped me I was able to do a direct connection. But I couldn't see the global list at all. However a few hours later and it is all ok again.

Very odd.
