more servers like ELITE

i have a feeling that the ELITE server is going to be full about 99% of the time.. i bet it will be very hard to get into..

what we need is another 2 or 3 servers like ELITE, that would rule.. But then again it is probably difficult to support these servers.

i just hope i can get into the ELITE server once in a while, and not have to be glued to the server selection screen hitting refresh every 5 seconds to jump in as soon as someone leaves... :/

I imagine that there will be quite a lot of high caliber servers, if this game is truly successful. There is a suprisingly lot of OCxx pipes being wasted on game servers these days

I guessed that the ELITE server would be VERY POPULAR which is why I asked in this forum if its going to be a closed server...as its not going to be locked for TLR regulars then its going to be a case of keep trying to connect in the hope that someone drops/leaves to gain entry.

Im sure there will be hundreds of servers out there when the game launches however its gonna be a real pain having to start building a new character on each one :/

in a way, I hope there are a lot of server since it could "ease" the Elite server for people like me to go in. Of course, I'd like to play personally on a server with serious gamer, maybe roleplaying a little, with none cheater and respectfull players. That's why I am very interested in the Elite server myself.

are you nucking futs?!! of course it's gunna be packed!
just think of the sheer number of ppl who want to play on it that are regulars here... add an untold amount of lurkers (how's that 1million user watch coming?

) and add the small number who will find it by chance.
= you're gunna be lucky to get the chance to play on ELITE.

What is the spec´s on the Elite server, and who operates it?

Is 10Mbit, 1Gb DDR, 1,8Ghz and RAID disks enough for Elite 2?

its a connection from BBB, so 10Mbit is not the info for a local network.
