''Connecting to Global Server''

For some reason, the game refuses to let me connect with the global server. It will show 'Connecting to Gobal Server' in the top right, and just never stop. It was all working fine just yesterday. My internet works. Can anyone help me out with this?

From what I've heard over at TOW, some induviduals cant see it form yesterday, while about 90% still can.

Yeah, I just called my friend and he's having the same problem. Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it? And what does TOW stand for?

It maybe your firewall - especially if you recently upgraded or downloaded an upgrade/adjusted it:

Many are having this problem now, poeple at different servers.

When using direct connect everything is working good.

I don't see why I even need to access the global server. Is there an option to directly connect to an IP? I know the dude that's running the server and I can call him.

EDIT: So there have been a few responses.
I tried turning my firewall OFF and it still didnt' work
So there is a direct connect. How do you use it?

Yup everything seems ok.
Our server couldn't connect to the global server for over a day.
What a pain in the ..........................

Could someone do me a favor please. jump on the global list and get the IP from a Server called ---===suden===--- or something like this. It must be a TNG 2.7 Server.

My global list is still not working and I would like to try to join by direct IP. If this is not working too there probably must be something about my PC.

I am not sure about the name... the server was always on top off my list and I just double klicked it without spending ages checkin the name.

Thx a lot,

Homer S.
