Actually..I should clarify, I have been playing the Multiplayer for a LONG time and have a level 39 character. They have level 20+ and would welcome my character to their server...but we CANNOT get it working. PLEASE help if you can, I would owe you one if this worked. Oh, we're playing the Rebalance Mod, but I am sure it would work either way. THANKS in advance guys.

Unfortunately, this isnt possible without direct access to both of the servers. If you happen to have it, you can copy the save game files from one server to another. Of course, both servers must run the same mod.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, my friend and I both want to import my character into his Server...but what files? I found the listing here in this path: C:\Documents and Settings\steve\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\MultiPlayer but when we copied them over...my character still didn't show up in his server when I logged in at his place on his LAN. Any idea's? Is there somewhere I am not looking for the correct files?

I dont have any experience with this, but this should be the right files. Maybe try restarting the server?
If that dont help, you will have to wait for someone more experienced to answer.

Kr_Kill, this character you want to move is on a server you host?

If so then you are getting the right file location but to much. (I will explane later in this post)

If your not the one hosting the server your character is on then you have to get that servers Admin to aggree to send you your save game files.

Once you get your save game file, either from your computer or the admin of the server you play on then you need to have the .fl file placed into the directory that corasponds to the account you already created on your friends server. you can do this by just making a new character with any ole name. He should then be able to find which directory in his multiplayer dictory is yours and put your .fl file, and only the .fl file not the directory from the old server, into that directory. after a server restart you should then be able to access your character.

Sweet...thanks for the help Dude! I really appreciate it. I'll try that and see if it works...problem is, he's on Graveyard, so I won't be able to try it until Sunday. Anyways, thanks again...I knew we were close...just couldn't figure it out.
