Need help with using IFSO on Windows 2000

OK, I don't know how many times I have tried to get this to work, but this is driving me insane. I can't use IFSO on my damn computer. Why? I still havn't figured it all out. I can download it fine, but when I try to open it, I get this damn "Open With" crap and I don't know what to do. It gives me a few choices on what I want the program to "Open With". Internet Explorer is one, then I get Microsoft Word, Microsoft Paint, Freelancer, FLMM and a bunch of other crap. I just don't know how to get it to work. So if any of you here know, for God's sake, please help me.

Killa, try the newest one from www.ioncross.com Version V It's a zip file, so it should be self-extracting and then a .exe file at that point. Hope this helps.

Sorry FD, I thank you for trying to help, but It still gives me this "Open With" crap. I'm just starting to wonder if I'm just not ment to use IFSO without any problems. Because apparintaly, I am what you might call a "Computer Killer." It seems like every computer I touch has something go wrong with it sooner or later. And again, thanks for trying to help Finalday.

Killa, do you have a Zip program, ie one that will unzip files? That may be your problem. There are free versions of Winzip and others as well. the reason I say this, if it is looking for something to open it with, then you are not gtting past the zip part, as the file it self is an exicutable file, it needs nothing to open it.

FD, thank you so much. I would have never thought of needing a zip thingie. But I installed the IFSO succusfully and I'm ready to use it. I thank you for your help.

Puh, and my mom says that asking for help on these forums doesn't work. LOL!

My name is Sam Fisher, and I'm a soldier. I'm not much of a philocopher, but if you want to know what I believe, then I'll tell you. I believe the greatist threats to our freedom start out small. They begin as random events that most people don't even notice. But they grow, they multiply. They start chain-reactions that threatin the entire world. Some people call that fate, I call it Chaos Theory.-- Sam Fisher, Splinter Cell.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, in stores March 31, rated M for mature.
