Can''t get LAN to work

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I played but I remember when I wanted to play sandbox-style I just started a server and played on it myself in LAN mode. I can't do that now, the server doesn't show up. I can start a regular Internet server but not a LAN one. What's going on ?

I'm using Win XP Pro SP2.

PS - I just want to do this so I can work on a mod.

with XP pro a lot of Lan issues can be avoided by simply installing the network protocol NWLINK IPX/SPX, got to network connections right click on your net card ie: rtl8139 choose properties ...install.. protocol...microsoft...nwlink ipx/spx..

You might also (if you haven't already) remove IPv6 from your network connection. FL doesn't understand IPv6, so it won't work with it.
