Single player file to multiplayer file

Is there any way, perhaps by moving subfiles to other files, that I can use my single player file on my multiplayer server so that I don't have to work my way up to level 30 again. I am level 30 in my single player game.

Are you running the server yourself?

If so then create your account on the server, and then edit it with Ioncross that way you can give yourself the money, ship that you had in SP.

But setting up on an MP server is half of the fun of freelancer, if its done instantly for you, its not the same.

Yes, if you create a new MP character, take the MP saved game file name and rename a SP saved game file with that name, then move it into the applicable MP account directory and overwrite the new character then you'll have your SP character flying on your server. This of course assumes all mods (if applicable) being equal.

LOL! Yet {MN} Admiral Nazbit is right! You should start over as it's not so hard. The only reason I know is because I did it when I first started the server back in May 2003. I needed a server police type character in game on the server ASAP so I transferred over one SP character. Now it's fun every once in a while just to start from scratch with a new character.
