If you can find a good server - hell yeah.

But that is cause i spent many many months enjoying online play! Whether its worth it from your point of view should come down to whether:

1) You love this game tons
2) Will it mean your connection is upgraded and can be used for other stuff (as in - will it only benefit FL or you in general)


For me, the storyline was great - really nice, but online play defined the game.

3) Do you like to game with other people and not just with the AI?
4) Do you like to congregate with other players to not just talk about but experience together the game?
5) Do you have a long attention span? Long enough for you to get used to the environment (players, server, mods, etc.)
6) Can you tolerate some harassment in various forms? (loosers who bully, loosers who cheat and loosers in general)
7) Last but not least in my book, are you a reasonably social person?

A positive response on these will have you enjoying your MP experience.

about internet (i hate explaining this) the computer i use the internet is the family mac. the computer is play with is a pc in my room. my parents don't want me to have internet so i have to buy a internet card so i can play in my room. so i guess the card would benifit me in alot of ways
the one thing that concerns me though is people who pick on noobs. i hate it when i start out in game and some **** comes and blows me up before i have enough stuff to defend myself.
what i realy want to do though is get a bunch of friends to escort a me in a frieghter and do trade missions. thats what i love...
so i think i should get this i am going to call Radio shack this morning
