Well, when i want to download something - i usually go for the screenshots section of the site - as its the perfectly logical place to find a download i personally find.
You can also find it on the main page in ANY mod release post - its linked in the text of the main thing - so that anyone who downloads a mod can download the mod manager at the same time.
