Account Limitations of 5 Characters, can it be changed?

Is there a way to increase the number of characters one may have, I would like more than 5 and they are a couple others on my server who Would like that also. Any suggestions or ideas what to do or were to look would be appreciated, thanks!

it's possible but only useful for admins as it involves direct access to the server

That would be good, because I run a server of my own and would like to offer more charcter possibilities. We all have our favorite ships and then there are those one would like to try, but if you have 5 favorite ships, there's no garage to put them in. It would open up for some still being able to check other ships out without havung to give up a charcter slot. I myself am in that sistuation. It's just something of curiousity since I haven't seen anything in the freelancer Folder that would change it. It should be up to a SysOp to allow such a thing, thanks for the reply.

Another alternative is to use Windows XP and it's multple accounts facility. Each account has it's own unique Freelancer MP account number and thus almost limitless characters are possible on a server. It is possible to trade with yourself and even kill yourself.
