n00b question

Basically me and my mates want to start playing the game online as a team, we were wondering if we thief goods will the money be split between us or will it just go to the one person who stole it?

who ever has the goods, then sells the good, gets the cash, you can then transfer money using the trade option. (if you want to)

rewards for missions are however equally split amoung players grouped so doing a mission for a pirate faction may hhave the desired results
