Need to generate a new MP account ID

OK, how do you generate a new MP Account ID? Is there a MP Account ID generator to be had somewhere? It seems we have a computer wants to create the same one every single time no matter if we format the drive or use x number of different FL CD-ROMS. We have a corrupt account on a server. We are trying to fix it by having the individual rejoin the server with a new ID. Then we will simply copy their old characters and item to the new account. But we cant seem to generate a different MP Account ID than the original.

They need to make a new user for windows and then FL will make a new ID number. But if a character is corrupt that no way to fix it, only way is to delete it.

So at a guess the player was switching between 2 characters and moving cargo and the server crashed and now any time he joins it fails again. So you have to delete the last 2 characters he/she used.

Re-install FreeLancer. I think.
If not then make a new user on XP.

You hit the nail right on the head. That is exactly what happen, moving cargo between two players and down it went. One player is not having an issue the second player is.

If they just uninstall freelancer, it removes its registry stuff from teh computer as well, which in turn means that when the CD is inserted again, you can reinstall with a new ID number.
