L.A.N. problems

We run L.A.N. games with mods (and without)
But -> the P.C. running the server, "crashes when entering jump Gates".
"trade lanes work fine".
The server still runs fine for the other P.C.s -> when this happens !
but the game crashes for the person playing on the server-> P.C.
this is -> the game crashes not the server.

The Server P C ->Pent -> 1800+AMD
120m -> Nvidia card.
All other games on the pc work fine, but" freelancer "is the best especially on lan networking. ("We are country people in australia so internet playing is no go for me. real bad ping".
any help PLEASE

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Freelancer on both PCs.

I had the same problem, and it's something to do with the Freelancer MOD Manager's back-up files being corrupted.

It worked OK for me after this!

My tip for you:
Once you've reinstalled Freelancer on the PCs, copy the Freelancer folder elsewhere, and you will then have a Freelancer that you can MOD, and one that is untouched. Sure it uses 1.8GB of HDD space, but it saves reinstalling...
