I was speaking to one of my friends the other day and we started getting into the idea of having a tournament and combat training server. We had loads of great ideas but the problem is it requires LOTS of mods to create a dethmatch scenario. Here are a few of our ideas... (in no real order)
1. Have only a few systems that are able to be entered. (with added boarders and no AI ships)
2. It costs credits to enter a fight and the winner gets to keep the total.
3. Killing a ship pays you like 150 credits times the targets level. (killing a level 14 ship pays you 2100 credits)
4. The best fighters can train newbies and be paid for it.
5. The best fighters can act as guards to keep things under controll
6. Non fighters can watch from the side lines
7. Only 1 station to land at and to buy things from in each sector
8. (if it can be done) Make a board which keeps the scores of fighters

If anybody thinks they can make a server/mod with these general ideas please contact me!!! I think this could really be cool. Add some of your own ideas if u wish. i just really think a dethmatch server would be just what people need.
